Dollar exchange rate on September 9, 2026. USD/PLN edges up slightly to 3.71 zł
The dollar was slightly more expensive in the morning than the day before
USD/PLN at 7:00 stood today, 09 September 2026, at 3,7145 zł. That meant that for 1000 zł, you could buy around 269 USD, so for people settling accounts in dollars it was a value close to yesterday’s level.
The difference from the previous day is small, but visible. Yesterday’s dollar rate was 3,7070 zł, so today the U.S. currency was more expensive by 0,0075 zł per 1 USD. When exchanging 5000 zł, that gives noticeably more dollars, although the scale of the move remains small.
On a weekly basis, the picture looks similar, as the change also comes to +0,0075 zł. That signals that the dollar rate remains close to the level seen in recent days, with no major volatility in the morning reading itself.
For tourists, people sending money abroad and freelancers paid in USD, this level simply means a similar currency-conversion cost as yesterday. The publication itself does not point to any specific reason for the morning move in the exchange rate.
