These terms and conditions apply to all users of the “kantor.exchange” service as well as to customers of the physical Lemoon exchange office. By using our services in any way, you agree to the provisions set out below.
exchange office – refers to Kantor Wymiany Walut Lemoon sp. z o.o., ul. Targowa 46, unit 65, 03-733 Warsaw, Poland, NIP 5252850373, REGON 388113284
rate – refers to the applicable buying or selling rate of a currency
service – refers to the website kantor.exchange
The provided data is used solely for handling currency exchange rate reservations and for contacting the customer only to agree on the details of the exchange.
Data provided at the physical exchange office is used solely for KYC/AML purposes.
By reserving an exchange rate, the customer accepts the information about the amount, rate, and value in PLN displayed on the tablet at the exchange office or in the order summary on the website.
The reservation is valid for 1 hour from the time it is made.
The reservation does not include small denominations.
Reservations are processed in the order they are received; repeated or delayed reservations made to obtain a better rate are not considered.
Purchase and sale receipts are issued for each transaction.
A named or company receipt is issued upon the client’s explicit request.
Complaints will not be accepted once the customer leaves the counter.
No commission or additional fees are charged for cash exchanges.
A 1% (one percent) surcharge is added to the exchange rate for card payments.
Counterfeit banknotes are confiscated in accordance with applicable NBP regulations.
Coins and old or withdrawn banknotes are purchased at lower rates.
For each transaction, the rates shown on the tablet in the exchange office or in the website order summary apply.
We reserve the right to change rates in the service and in exchange offices without prior notice.
In the event of significant market fluctuations, service malfunctions, or other events leading to a transaction being concluded at a rate that significantly deviates from the market rate, we reserve the right to adjust the rate or cancel the reservation.
In accordance with applicable regulations, we are required to register any cash transaction exceeding the equivalent of EUR 15,000 based on the NBP average exchange rate on the day of the transaction, and to identify the customer.
Under our internal AML procedures, we are also required to register transactions and the identity of the customer in the case of one or more transactions exceeding the total value of EUR 15,000.
For large transactions, a valid identity document is required (passport, national ID card, residence card, Pole’s Card, etc.).
Collected data is shared only with the General Inspector of Financial Information and, upon request, with the NBP.
According to the Act of March 1, 2018, the following individuals must inform the cashier of their status and complete a declaration under penalty of criminal liability before making a transaction:
persons holding prominent political positions
persons known to be close associates of persons holding such positions
family members of persons holding such positions

According to applicable law, goods with high price volatility are not subject to the right of free return.
